LORD, the chains that bind me.
You've taken away.
You have released me from pain and misery.
I got confused, bewildered and forlorn
but You came along -
reminded me where I truly belong.
How can I forget?
The love and saving grace You constantly give.
Peace and freedom I find in Your caring embrace
I don't need to run from the scorching sun
Things may get out of hand
but I believe in Your mighty plan
Oh, I need, You, LORD
I need Your touch
Left on my own, what do I have?
Show me, LORD, the way to where
You want me to be.
Where You lead, I'll follow faithfully!
